Gregynog Colloquium 2011: open for bookings

We are delighted to publish the programme for this year’s WHELF/HEWIT Colloquium taking place at Gregynog between 13th – 17th June. This year’s programme is a varied mix of library and IT topics ranging from the strategic to the operational, with something to suit all tastes. We have succeeded in our aim of keeping the prices as reasonable as possible and have therefore been able to keep them broadly the same as last year.

We would therefore urge colleagues to spread the word and  to book their places for the colloquium as soon as possible. The last date for taking bookings will be 20th May.

We look forward to seeing you at Gregynog. Here is the link to the website: http://gregynog.glam.ac.uk/

High Performance Computing offers outstanding levels of computing power to business, and through the HPC Wales project, companies of all sizes across Wales can benefit from this exceptional resource.

HPC Wales brings state of the art computing technology, infrastructure and facilities to Wales for the first time, offering high skills development, training and support.

The project will be fully operational later this year, and bring a supercomputing capacity and network of a scale not previously attempted anywhere else in the UK or Europe.

This event will introduce the project and provide delegates an opportunity to learn how they can leverage HPC Wales to deliver long term competitive advantage, by creating new products or services not otherwise possible.

To book a place at this FREE workshop email events@softwarealliancewales.com or call 01792 606663.

This event has been organised by Software Alliance Wales and eHealth Industries Innovation (ehi2) Centre, in collaboration with HPC Wales.
